Height Safety

Working at height is considered a high risk, high impact risk task. The correct, certified and tested height safety personal protection equipment must be worn to ensure maximum prevention and protection. We provide a massive height safety range including carabiners and ropes, climbing helmets, fall protection kits, harnesses, lanyards and work restrain systems including retractable fall limiters. Conforming to EN 397.

Industries most commonly using height safety equipment include construction, festivals and events, demolitions, utilities, entertainment, property maintenance services and service sectors including fire services.

When assessing risks and choosing the correct personal protection equipment it is important to ask the following;

What is working at height?

“Work at height” means work in any place where, if there were no precautions in place, a person could fall a distance liable to cause personal injury, this can be at or below ground level.

How often does your equipment need to be inspected?

Our soft goods, such as harnesses & lanyards, need to be independently inspected every 6 months. All our hard goods such as blocks, tripods and winches need to be annually serviced. All goods should be checked before use.

Do I need to be trained at working at height?
